Who is Spokey Shrugs?

In the year of the rat, MMXX, Spokey Shrugs, aka and self-proclaimed Sir Spokey Shrugsalot, made his debut appearance. We believe his digital incarnation was the result of a many sleepless nights and a shortage of espresso. Unfortunately, he has managed to become one with the Spoke Audio Player codebase and has no intention of moving on.

Spokey will pop up from time to time, typcially when the audio player has gone awry. In such cases he'll attempt to convey what the problem is and pass along relavent information to the Spoke dev team for review (see our Privacy Policy for more information). Less frequent Spokey will have a question to ask or simply share a few words of wisdom (heed or ignore).

Please know that we are doing our best to keep Spokey's appearances to a minimum.

Spokey is of no relation to Clippy.
